A CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
Our mission is simple: To honor our Greek heritage, to share our exquisite family recipes with all who walk through our doors and to make our food feel like home.
It all begins with our authentic food. Olive oil is a staple in Mediterranean cuisine and is used in many of Katerina's recipes. While many diets have come and gone, the Mediterranean diet has been healthy for centuries and will continue for many more.
Best Ultra-authentic Greek Food Ever
Katerina's is a cozy place with soaring views of the Greece coastline across the walls and the very best, ultra-authentic Greek cuisine. Yesica our server tonight made serving our party of 10 seem easy (though I am certain it was not). She gave us tremendous and quick service with a genuine smile, great recommendations, and everything we ate tonight was the best version of that dish we've ever had. Loved our meal and our time at Katerina's.

Unbelievably excellent!! We are visiting from out-of-town and our hotel recommended this place a few miles away. It was totally amazing! Service was excellent from the moment we walked in. We had hummus to start with and both our meals included tasty Greek salads. I ordered the gyro platter which came mounded with succulent gyro meat and tzatziki, along with warm pita. My husband ordered his favorite - moussaka. He pretends to look at the menu in Greek restaurants and then only ever orders moussaka! He took a few bites and declared he was in heaven. His favorite moussaka ever was ten years ago in Crete. He said this one was equally as good if not better, and it was huge! (Half was put in a box to take-away!).
Our go-to place in downtown Manassas
Our favorite downtown restaurant (in a crowded field) in downtown Manassas. Dependable and consistently good. Saganaki (flaming cheese) is a tasty appetizer. I regularly get the Gyro Platter with a heaping pile of meat (always take some to go). Highly recommended is the Taste of Greece meal which is a sampler of Mousaka, Pastitsio and Spanakipita. The Mousaka and Pastitsio are delicious! Best I have ever had. The Greek Salad is typical but very tasty. In fact, all their dishes are packed with great flavor. Nice setting and a bit quieter (in a good way) than some of the other options in downtown.
